New Belgium Accumulation

Advent Calendar Day: 10

Description:

Bringing it back around to the IPAs, because you know we get a little shaky when we leave the hop fields for too long, we proudly present this hazy example from New Belgium. Dry hopped with Strata, Mosaic, Lotus, and El Dorado hops, the aroma is fabulous while keeping the taste balanced and not too bitter. New Belgium says that brewing a white IPA was not only a way to salute the white beauty falling from the sky, but a direct revolt to the longstanding tradition of brewing dark beers for winter. At least that’s what their rebellious brewer Grady Hull likes to claim as he shovels in plenty of new hop varietals and a bit of wheat for a smooth mouthfeel.
