**** UPDATE 11/19 ****
CBAC 2015 is ready for pickup! If you reserved yours already, just stop in any time between now and December 1st and pick it up. If you haven’t reserved one, ya better call quick. They’re going fast and we’ll probably be sold out by the end of the weekend. Oh, and we found some awesome beers at slightly lower prices than last year, so they’re $61 + tax. A better deal, you will not find.
It’s back! All good things come to those who wait, they say, and we’ve got 24 good things coming soon to reward your patience. The Craft Beer Advent Calendar has returned. If you don’t know what that is, read on.
With a traditional advent calendar, you open up a little door every day from December 1st through December 24th. It’s like a countdown to Christmas. There are usually chocolates, or treats, or toys hidden behind each door. In our Advent calendar, however, we put an awesome craft beer behind each door. You can drink ’em however you want. Open the door in the morning before work, stick the beer in the fridge, and have it when you get home. Save them all up and take them to the family Christmas dinner. Give them away to your neighbors (we don’t espouse this method, but it’s very commendable and holiday-spirit-y of you!). Your choice. We do all the hard work, gathering 24 amazing beers, and you get to sit back and enjoy the results.
There is a catch, though.
We won’t tell you what the beers are. That’s part of the point, every day is a surprise! What we will do, however, so you trust that we won’t steer you wrong, is show you what we put in last year’s calendar. You can see that it’s a good mix of styles, seasonals, and flavors, but all of the beers are highly rated, very well respected, and delicious. Any true beer lover will love every beer in the case.
**** DANGER, DANGER! ****
We would like to repeat, this is NOT the list of beers in the 2015 CBAC. This is the 2014 CBAC, listed here as examples of the types of beers you can expect this year. Repeat. These are NOT the beers you’ll be getting this year. (They’ll be better!) Anyhoo, here’s what we put in last year’s case.
